Observations of dawning.
Studies in light progression, visibility and tone. Considerations of horizon line, subject placement, mood.
As we watch the day lift from the East side of the firth, two disused oil platforms emerge in the horizon.
They appear at once daunting and pathetic in the stillness of the landscape. Studies for "The Dawning of the Rig".
